Cameron Applegate is a co-owner of Gate Industries. Cameron was introduced to the EB-5 program in 2009 while assisting in the application of Gate Industries first Regional Center. She has since assisted in multiple Regional Center applications and EB-5 projects, and primarily manages Gate Industries’ legal administration.

Cameron also specializes in Patent Law and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She received her Patent bar registration in early 2012 and is a practicing patent agent.

Cameron holds a B.S. in Microbiology and an M.S. in Molecular Pharmacology and Biomedical Sciences. While fully experienced in prosecuting patents in any field of art, her scientific expertise lies in pharmaceuticals and their interactions with biological systems. With this experience, Cameron brings a nuanced perspective on analyzing EB-5 projects.

Prior to her involvement in the EB-5 industry, Cameron began her career at the Medical University of South Carolina where she designed and implemented targeted drug therapy approaches for treating cancer, as well as performing preclinical and clinical testing of a variety of chemotherapeutic agents in cell culture, mouse models, and patients. Following the birth of her son, in early 2012, Mrs. Applegate decided to hang up her "white coat" and transitioned from laboratory research and clinical medicine to EB-5 business and patent law.
